So if Dunn is not the GM anymore who is going to take over the duties of GM??? Maybe an old friend of Pat's from CC who has been hanging around the office.....
I wish Tony the best of luck and I do hope that he stays with the team recruiting. I would hate to see us lose his talent for that.

I've heard lots of things but don't know if any of it is true. Wasn't someone else from Ft. Worth (who no longer works there) in town "visiting"? Sure will be an interesting off-season now!
NMScorpion3, I agree with you about the Scorps Board. Every owner the Scorps have had had done that. They don't like to hear the bad things that the fans have the right to say, they only like to hear the good. Everyone has their own opinions and has the right to voice them!

I tried checking the Scorps board early this morning and noted it was down. But credit where it's due...the Scorps are one of few CHL teams who actually HAVE a disuccsion board on their homepage. The rest of us have to lurk around these EZBOARDs or others to talk about the team, good or bad.

Everyone has opinions and everyone has a right to voice them....I think you are correct. BUTTTTTTTTTT...........
The Scorps Board is property of the team and the team is owned by Mr. Frank and well......if you say too much negative about Mr. Frank and he says he has had enough....he has the right to turn off the forum.
This is the way I see it........
Tony Martino is a friend of mine. I have talked at length with him about this subject. He is hurt. He is confused. He also knows I am a fan and supporter of the New Mexico Scorpions. He has told me to continue to support the team, Mr. Frank and Mr. Dunn. He wants the best for the team and wants to see them succeed. I am doing just that. This team needs the support of every fan. If you are upset by this...great. Be upset. If you are a fan of Tony then keep track of him and support him where he ends up. If you are a fan of the team, support the team. They could use your support right now. You may not like what Mr. Frank has done but dont forget he is the reason we have a team at all. As you can see I am standing on both sides of the fence. I love the team and I support my friend Tony. Nothing wrong with that. Keep it in perspective.
I'm young enough to still see the passionate boy that I used to be.......But I'm old enough to say I've got a good look at the other side.........
I know you guys are upset about losing Tony as head coach, but, if I am not mistaken, when Tony took a three game leave of absents to be with his wife this season, Mr. Dunn stepped in and led the Scorps to victory in all three of those games. Before and after those three games, the Scorps lost games. Maybe this isn't such a bad thing for you guys. This is the first year that I can remember that your team didn't dominate, so maybe a change was in order. Only time will tell. Good Luck!
