My Sigs and Stuff
I've been "sig bitch" for most of the guilds I've been in, as well as my message board, and I complied all of my favorites. They are all here:
Most of them are EQ sigs, as you can see, but I'm starting to get into making sigs for my guild in WoW. I actually have a list of about 10 I'm working on.
I'd also be thrilled to make sigs for anyone here too!
Wow, BEAUTIFUL work!! I love how you've incorporated the quotes and even RL pictures into some.
Question for you....you have some artwork on the one of them I'd like to ask you about....the sig above the Taboo you're using here. Do you recall the name of the artist featured in that sig? I've been looking all over for it!

Unfortunately, no. However, by the style, I *think* it might be Bergkvist, but I'd have to check. If it is her, I should probably credit on the sig like I did on the one above it. I usually just cruise around, looking at fantasy art sites and saving pics. I've gotten in a bit of a stew before, as some artists have seen that I've used their images and claim copyright infringement. But I make it a policy to not use images that have no outright stated "DO NOT USE" on the page. Unfortunately, a lot of the pictures I get are pictures that OTHER people have snagged from original artwork sites.
But anyway...I'd think people would be flattered to have their art used to represent someone on a forum. Its not like the images are being altered and sold for a profit.

YES!! Thank you so much! I've been looking for some of my favourite fantasy artists to make a new personal pic too...that little sun is cool enough but I'm just not feeling it that much.
There's another artist that I used to have bookmarked as well and I often used her/his images as my wallpaper. If I find it, I'll post a link on this thread as well.
And yes, we in CoT are all SO proud of our Zeli sigs too.

you violate copyright laws by first using the images without contacting the artist - whether it was "intended" or not. It's like taking someone's money and saying "if you find out i took your money, then i'll give it back to you." ... such B.S

And while I certainly really enjoy looking at the other sigs and admiring them because I couldn't even begin to do anything like that myself, I think we choose and stick with a custom signature because something in it speaks to us....or about us. And of course, the sentimental value! I think it's that way with all kinds of "art".

I really like your work too. If you ever find yourself bored with nothing to do (do women ever really have nothing to do???!!!), I would like a signature also. My main character is name Kyee and is a Tauren Hunter with a gator as a pet( Steve has saved my butt sooo many times). I use a gun and axe to hunt. Thank you in advance. *smiles*

I love your sig myself, and while I am all into making my own, I don't think I could get it as good as yours. I'd love for ya to make one for me if ya could, for both here and my guild's website. Hell,my boyfriend would prolly even pay ya for a new website banner!
