The shoulder injury will require immediate surgery and be a season ending injury. Our favorite All Star and top scorer for the Rayz will be sorely missed!! Get well soon Layne.

Hockeynutz, here is what Dan Weiss posted yesterday: However, early in the 3rd period, Mudbug's defenseman Gavin Hodgson slammed forward Layne Roland (Vernon, BC) off to the boards just to the left of the Rayz bench catching Roland's right shoulder in between the boards and the steel. Roland left the game with what was diagnosed as a separated shoulder and did not return. Is that the same shoulder, I don't know?
