Re: Kirsten's intro
Kirsten,

Welcome to Moms United in Autism Awareness! You are so right, people are often quick to judge, share their own opinions, and yet they who do not live with this on a daily basis have no clue.

I am so glad you joined. I am working diligently to promote our community and get things going. I really feel like this could become a wonderful place of support, friendship and information. If you know of any others that could benefit from our group, please feel free to invite them! They will be welcome....

Thank you for all that you do as a military wife, and thanks so much to your husband as well. My family and I are truly grateful for all of the sacrifices you make....

Salute to Our Military Wives and Moms

We praise you for your constant efforts to provide the love, stability, and inner strength needed to keep your families together. You are not alone in your day to day battles. We understand the commitment and dedication required to be a military wife and mom.

In the dark hours of the night, as your tears fall silently, remember that you are not alone, and that you have such an important purpose in your life. It will not always be easy, but the rewards to you, your spouse, your children and your country are priceless. The burdens you carry are so very unique. Never forget that within you is the power and strength needed to get through each day, as endless as they sometimes seem.

Do not be afraid to reach out to others for support. It is ok to let your guard down at times, and let the tears fall where they may. For every tear you have shed, for every tear you will shed in the future, do not hide them in shame…know that everyday you earn the right to express yourself and how you feel. We are so proud of you!

With Love & Friendship,

Jenn
