Advocacy4autism will help you from the very ebginning of finding out your child has a diagnosis of any special need and help you navigate the special education system and your school district. Christy Gorman has been an advocate for over 5 years and is finshing uo her degree in elementary special education/ABA. She also has a 5 year old daughter with Autism, so the fight for her is personal. She has experience with negotiating with school districts, experience with the IDEA laws, with receiving related services and also has a wealth of knowledge with special needs recreation activities on Long Island NY, camps, respite providers and medical providers. For a small fee of $25 an hour she attends IEP meetings as an advocate for you and your family and also helps provide all of the information above.
