A beautiful journey comes to an end.
The hands of time have slipped on by.
A love once felt so strong, left to whither and die.
Two hearts together, one still knows the score.
One heart walks uncontested, walks slowly out the door.
A heart left standing and wondering why.
Why is love so cruel, why must love be blind.
With a heart that is heavy and a soul that is weak.
One heart concedes, and sadly admits defeat.
A beautiful time, felt so deep in love.
Assured time and again, it was sent from above.
A broken heart, a dying soul.
Wonders out loud, just where did my love go.
For to another my life has been given.
Told to understand, asked to be forgiven.
A thoughtless act, to reach out and then.
A beautiful sweet journey, comes painfully to an end…

Passionate words
Whispered into my ear.
Down my cheek rolls a tear.
He brushes it away
And asks what's wrong.
I've waited to be
Loved for so long.
His soft caresses
Sends shivers up my spine.
His lips bring kisses
Sweeter than wine.
No one has ever made
Me feel like this.
He makes me senseless
With just one kiss.
Deep within my soul
Sparks desire.
The sensuality in his eyes
Could set ice on fire.
I feel so warm and secure
In his warm embrace.
I love to memorize the
Features of his face.
His touches tease.
His kisses please.
He kept my heart from breaking.
He eased all aching.
He freely gave his mind,
Heart and soul.
I gave him the same
Then lost all control.

If I had only known the pain I would cause,
I would take it all back to avoid the loss.
If I had only known the mistakes would be made,
I would change the hands of time, change it back today.
If I had only known it could have been the last time I would touch your face.
I would have thought twice, cherished everyday.
If I had only known I could lose on my life,
I would go back in time, and make things right.
If I had only the known the danger I was in,
I would seal up my heart and never let doubt in.
If I had only known the hurt that was to come,
I would go back and make sure, you know you’re the only one…

The reason why I’m here, I know hasn’t always been so clear.
But I long to hold you and have you near.
To look into your eyes, to calm all your fears.
My reason for being with you, right here.
Simply loving you and hoping to make your dreams come true.
Simply only one of the reasons, my love runs so deep for you.
For my love it seems, grows stronger everyday.
And through my love I will say, I cherish simply being here with you today
I thank you for the time and love that you have shown.
And look forward to all the years, and how everything has grown.
Looking in your eyes, I see your true beauty.
A love that is returned, an angel speaking to me.
The reason why I’m here, with each day will become more clear.
The strength of my love will show, and hold you so dear.
My life before you was bleak, the future dead and gray
But with god as my witness and his angels by my way.
With patience I will wait, for the love to return once more.
To wrap itself around us, and make life worth living for
Not seeing your face, weighs heavy on my heart.
I feel so very alone whenever were apart.
With this today I make a pledge to you.
To love you and hold you and always stay true.

If I were no longer there, would the wind still whisper a name?
Or would I simply be forgotten, a memory just the same?
Would my life pass by unnoticed, would my soul cease to exist?
Would the passion deep inside me, be gone with one last kiss?
If I were no longer there, would the night be cold and dark?
Or would the sun simply shine forever, in the absence of my heart?
If I were truly gone, would sorrow and heartache abound?
Or would the ghost of what I once was, simply be a shadow, cast upon on the ground?
If I were no longer there, would it matter just the same?
Would the birds still sing, the flowers still bloom, would you ever call my name?
If were no longer there, gone from this world for good.
Would you ever wish to hold me again, hold me if you could?
If I were no longer there, would it matter in your eyes?
Would you think of me in remembrance, would you sit down and cry?
Would you look to the sky and question as to why?
Or simply dismiss my memory; clear it from your mind?
If I were no longer there would my spirit and laugh be missed?
Or my memory simply put away, my love simply be dismissed?
Would my love be missed, would you stop and stare?
I wonder if you would even notice, if I were no longer there?

Or maybe, just upon a dream,
I held onto something special,
Something called you and me.
But as fairytales are likely to end,
Or maybe, as dreams are likely to die,
There was nothing left to hold onto,
Nothing left of you and I.
Once upon a faded picture,
Or maybe, just a faded rose,
A faded love is still remembered,
Something only you and I know.
But as memories linger with the picture
And fragrance with the rose,
I’ll remember what we had,
Even if you don't want to know

Before you came along
I was only half a person,
and unfinished puzzle.
Then you came and became the missing piece
at last I was whole --vital, alive, and in love.
And when we parted, a part of me stayed with you.
I died inside once again.
Now too late, I think maybe you never fit anyway.
I couuld've just shovd you in for want
of something to fill the gap.
The missing piece was within me
it just took someone like you doing what you did
to make me find it.
I hate you for causing me pain;
I care for you for helping me
to grow and find myself.
And though it still hurts;

I thought you were special the moment that we met,
That surely you were someone I never could forget.
You are what I have searched for; you are what I needed,
In bringing me happiness, you have certainly succeeded.
For you are the one God sent to me from up above,
The perfect angel I needed for whom I do love.
I found that you are the someone I have always hoped for,
Someone that deep down I truly do love, cherish, and adore
I know this to be true because you are my everything,
My one and only someone that true love can bring.
I hope that some day you will come to realize,
How perfect you are when seen through my eyes.
From the moment I looked into your eyes I found this to be true,
