COACH’S RADIO SHOW RETURNS TO THE AIRWAVES IN AMARILLO
AMARILLO, TX – Amarillo Gorillas hockey fans will have a new place to turn to get the latest information about their hockey club.
Joe @ Joe’s – The Amarillo Gorillas coach’s show will be on the air during the 2003-2004 season live from Joe’s Crabshack on I-40 and Soncy. The announcement was made at the restaurant during a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.
The Coach’s Show will be held on 13 Wednesday nights from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Joe’s Crabshack and be aired live on KPUR-AM 1440 Am the Score. The show will feature Gorillas Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations and Assistant General Manager Joe Ferras and the voice of the Gorillas Denis J. Puska. There will be interviews with two players, a re-cap of recent action involving the Gorillas as well as giveaways and fun at the restaurant.
“We are very pleased to have the coach’s show back on the air following a one year absence,” said Denis J. Puska. “I am happy that we are teaming up with Joe’s Crabshack for the show and I think our fans will enjoy the location, atmosphere and food there.”
Joe at Joe’s will debut on Wednesday, October 8 beginning at 7 p.m. and will run on 12 more selected Wednesday nights throughout the season.

The Amarillo Gorillas are busy preparing for the 2003-2004 Central Hockey League season. The home opener is set for Friday, October 24 when they entertain the expansion Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees beginning at 7 p.m.
Partial and full season tickets as well as corporate partnerships are available by calling 242-7825 or dropping by the Gorillas new offices located at 1934 Civic Circle in the Wolflin Village. Our offices hours are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
