Invisible Evidence
Now who said this a GSR/yobling episode? It has a G/C too.. The team has only 24 hours to re evaluate the case and everybody is under stress. Gil snaps at everyone.. poor Hodges, poor Sheriff Atwater,etc..( except Cath.) remember that famous pin me down episode? Sara was hinting about their relationship or its lack thereof, and Gil was like giving her “im clueless… what are you talking about” look I wonder why the hell are the GSRs considering this as their most triumphant moment ever. Ok so Gil touched her hands, they became close.. but just look at his face.. deadpan expression, tired eyes, smug look. Doesn’t look romantic at all to me. All professional. And the response he gave to her at the end was just like ouch! He gave her the clueless look, which screams “im dumping you”
Then comes the GC scene.
--------------------------
(GRISSOM and CATHERINE watch the interview.)
BRASS: (through speaker) So, then what?
CATHERINE: So, I liked your tough act yesterday.
GRISSOM: Huh?
CATHERINE: "I hand out the assignments. This isn't a negotiation."
GRISSOM: What, too much?
CATHERINE: (shakes her head) Not enough.
--------------------------------------
See how Gil didn’t snap at Cath, which shows how even under the most stressful situations, he values her feelings and views.. and asks her “..too much?” Notice also how Cath remembers Gil’s lines. And how Gil’s face lights up when Cath talked to him. No clueless expression on Gil, which is way better than a hand touch.

Re: Invisible Evidence
Well put! I'm beginning to think that GSR fans are an odd lot who interpret disgust as desire, repulsion as longing, running away as running even faster towards, a glassy stare as a lust-laden look. But then, I guess to be a GSR fan, you'd have to be that way. Or you'd just not be one.
