Introduction
My name is Shelley, my son Erik will be four in December.
We have not been formally diagnosed yet. He has very
little speech, and at the Children's Special Need Clinic where I had him evaluated because of his speech, I was told he was
showing symptoms of autism. Through his god parents we
set up an appointment with Dr. Stephanie Cave who wrote
the book "What Doctors Don't Tell You about Vaccinations,"
and she determined from his immunization records the doses
he received all had the maximum amount of thimersol in them
when they were manufactered. We are currently doing the
heavy metal detoxification under her guidance. She is a DAN
Practioner (Defeat Autism Now), we have also been to the
Sensory Learning Institute in Boulder, CO developed by Mary Bowles, that is a learning modality for sensory integration.
I will probably get a formal diagnosis soon for educational
benefits. I would rather not have him diagnosed until he is
toxin free and see the child that is not full of toxins.
