1. What was you biggest success?

I guess it´s the WIC ranking in 03. This year I got many victories but it`s mainly the regularity of the result that made
me get this victory.
2. What was your best race?
My best race is mainly Rennes, because it`s near my own town. I won it several time in a row. I like this race because
there is a racing mind in this city for inline skating sport.

3. Why do people like you a lot?
hehe strange question, I don`t know some like me - some not...for sure. Just I try to respect the rules of the sport as
much as possible...I try to respect basic rules that my coach learn me when I was kid...like „work hard - victory mind - respect of the adversity“ this kind of things.

4. You are a supersar in Korea, what are the reasons?
Superstar is may be a big name. I like korea because there is so many people in love with inline skating there. I did a
video in the past and many people from korea used it to learn basics things...that may be a reason.

5. Why did you decide to join the newly formed Powerslide WIC Team?
I stay for 9 years with Salomon and I want to thank Salomon for this time. I think I did a good Job there and exchange with them all that as possible. Now I got the chance to go to Powerslide and it`s very exciting for me to beable to get a 2nd life there. I like the challenge, and particulary here because it is a new team coming , so i hope to bring experience notonly during the race but also in the organsation of the system to bring the group of skater and the brand to the victory.

6. How does the ice feel instead of ashpalt?
That`s another experience...and both are good, both are skating. I just love all about skating and I think it s also important in a carreer to know want
is going on with ice. Asphalt is just where I was born. I can`t leave it it`s in my blood and I believe it`s possible to do both good.

7. What are your future aims?
World Championship is always a priority for a skater. But this year with a new team the World Inline Cup ranking will be a main goal. It s just to
early to give some exact goal because Powerslide team is building now...and the other too...so it s better to wait and see the exact situation before
deciding some clear goal.

8. Who could win the WIC 2006 besides you?

Level is very high now in Inline skating. Massi is always a man for it, Jorge also go for it and after many podium I`m sure he will try more than everto make it. Saggiorato is a surprise since 2 years.

9. The older the better? Expierience - what is the formula of your success?
Formula of success: I believe for sure in one rules „training“ , training hard is a key of success in most of the case. But training „good“ and regularly
is even more. There are so many people training hard, but only few month a year to become a champion is takes years and to be able to stay one,
its even harder.

10. What was the most funniest race for you?
Les herbiers, France for the French Inline Cup with a uphill 16% and rain condition , we had to run side to the road to be able to climb it. Then it
become link to the next question...

11. What was your hardest race ever?

...after 20km of race...imagine you have to run 1km at 16% inclinaison in a race, with your skate and then still 20 more km to do...that`s hard, that`s
sport and that`s what Inline skating should be...sometimes...not always...but sometimes.
This day, all the skater who started will remember it forever...

Thanks Pascal for this interview and thanks for joining our team and good luck for the races to come.
