How to start on the TEST server
I enjoy trying new templates on TEST, it's actually a nice world. Here is how to do it:
Test Server Installation & Setup
Here are the steps to follow in order to play on the Test server.
1. Copy the entire contents of your Shadowbane directory (folders, executables, dlls, etc.) to a new folder, and rename it (i.e. Shadowbane_TEST).
2. Open the ArcaneIP.cfg file in your Shadowbane_TEST/ Config directory. Use Notepad or WordPad to modify the file.
3. Erase this address [SERVER= sb-ls.ubi.com] and replace it by [SERVER= sbtest-ls.ubi.com]. Save the ArcaneIP.cfg file and close it.
4. Open the ShadowbanePatcher.cfg file in the Shadowbane_TEST directory. Use Notepad or WordPad to modify the file.
5. Erase this address [server sb-ps.ubi.com:336![0]](http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/alien.gif) and replace it by [server sbtest-ps.ubi.com:336 .
6. Open the ShadowbanePatcher.cfg file in the Shadowbane_TEST directory and modify the following the URLs:
[MOTD relnotes.sb.ubi.com/index.shtml] to
[MOTD relnotes.sb.ubi.com/index_test.shtml].
Save the ShadowbanePatcher.cfg file and close it.You will now be able to patch your TEST version of Shadowbane and login to the TEST server.
7. Play to Crush.
