How did you spend you're Early Life???
Let us know WHO you are by sharing things. I'll start as for an example.

Okay, early life for me... let me think. Considering Im only 21, you'd think I wouldn't have to work too hard at remembering things. Be warned, it may be rather long.

I know that as a child I was called "Sausage" charming eh? My family are all about speaking positives over your life.
Anyway. I don't remember much from when I was toddler age, under the age of six or seven really.
My mum when I was that age, was seriously depressed and had to go away to a rehab farm with chronic fatigue and such. My dad was a cray (lobster) fisherman and was away most of the time, we only saw hime onces every two or three weeks, but back then we didn't understand he was just trying to pay the bills.
We stayed with close family friends (my two younger brothers and I), of whom we're still really close with today. I remember camping alot. Man those were the fun times. Occassionally mum would come back for a holiday and dad would take time off of work and we'd go out into the scrub and camp by the dunes for a week or so with loads of other families.
Those were the great times I remember. Sitting by the fire with mum and singing. Going bunny *bashing* and spotlighting with dad and going in the 4-WD over massive dunes. Loads of fun.
Mum was in rehab for about 2 years.
Things started getting a little more normal when I was about 10. I remember all the silly things you do as a kid. LIght fires. Cut your own hair (or your brothers) and play barbies (sometimes giving them a hair cut too).
I was always picked on through primary school. Now I laugh cause half of those that did the teasing are (still) dropkicks with no future aspirations other than to live on the dole.
High school wasn't such a drama. I was known as 'Pony' go figure. It started to get into horses around that time. I threw myself into my social life at the begining of Year 8 and into my school work, escpecially Art and English. I think I knew then and there that I'd never be good at maths.
High school plodded on for the next year or so and then I had the opportunity to go overseas for 12 months on exchange.
I took that opportunity quick smart and landed in the US when I was 15 doing my senior year of high school. It was one of the best years of my life. Its made me who I am today.
While I was there, I experienced a near school shooting. It was only a few months before Columbine. 5 boys had a plan to kill, they had a list and everything. It wasn't until the morning they were going to do something about it, one of their girlfriends realized they were serious and dobbed them into the cops.
I got saved right then and there.
I graduated over there in the USA. It was a fun year and opened my mind to multi-culture like nothing ever could.

And so my quest to become bi-lingual had begun.

I came back home a different person. More independant and somewhat rebelious. My parents really didn't know how to deal with me, but we sorted it out and comprimised in the end.

A year later, mum and I went back to the USA and paid a visit to my host family.

Anyway, not much really happend from then on in apart from high school and exams. I decided I didn't want to go to UNI (which was really weird coming from the US culture where UNI seems to be a must) But not everyone here does. I worked in an office for the government & decided I hated that and then went to work for Baker's Delight. I did enjoy that, but the travel bug bit me again.
This time I went back to the US to work.

I nannied for a family in CT. Two Kids, 12 and 9 (21 and 5 lol). The kids were difficult to start with, but i soon grew to love them dearly. Their parents were a different story. One was a workaholic with no social skills. I pittied her. And the father was a sarcastic cheating @#%$ head. I couldn't stand him. His wife knew he was cheating (with a previous nanny) Im sure of it. But like I said, I pittied her. I guess she wanted to try and keep the family together.
I met soooooo many other nannies. My 5 best friends were from South Africa (1 was another Aussie from Brisbane). And I had like 50 German and Chezch friends. So I added Afrikaans and German to my Spanish and French languages.

After 6 months into my stay I got a phone call. Mum had been diagnosed with Chronic Myloid Liukemia. I came home.

And now. Here I am today. Working three jobs, Woolworths (Safeway), Blockbuster and doing Childcare, all saving for my next big trip overseas.

3 weeks backpacking New Zealand next year. Wish me Luck!
And I appologize If I bored you. :P

wow! I'm only 17 and I don't remember a lot!LOL But here's the jist....

I was 6 years old I believe when my mom went to a depression clinic was it? I don't know. Never realized it really. She got a great babysitter for me and my bros. It was a lot of fun.
Then we moved. I missed my old home, but quickly forgot about it. I now resided in Abbotsford, BC. There I met my first best friend and my first crush. Actually we both liked him. I think he knew it too. He's 2 years older than us. We in the 5th grade him in the 7th. That went on for a year before I moved again.
A little about my family. I remember when I first met my stepmom. The sweetest person you'll ever meet. It was at an ABC restaurant picnic. My dad has been working with them for as long as I can remember. That's where I got Fufty Buns.

*intermission* hand is suddenly very hurting!rofl

Re: How did you spend you're Early Life???
hm, lets see how much i can remember! *laughs*

well i can remember my first home slightly ... my older bro sis and i were born there we left when i was about 5 to a nother place remember being there but dont really remember it in percision you know what i mean.

We then moved to a place called Dubbo and we spent 2 years there. i met my first best friend there her name was Rebecca! boy we got into so much trouble all the time ... i remember once my mum and dad had all this food donations for the church we were going to ... except we decided to have a food figt with it with one of the girls down the road (who we didnt like) we got so fully busted and burnt on that one!
then there was this time when we brought the hose inside and decided to make the kitchen floor a slide (thinking we were helping my mum clean the floor) we got fully busted and burnt for that one too .... hmm ... then i remember the time when Rebeccas brother got his bike handle stuck in his side ... it left this huge as hole in his stomach and we through it was cool but gross! ohhh we used to give water to the postie just to steal his rubber bands when he wasnt looking!
oh and we once snuck onto the back of the milk mans truck thinking wed get off at his next stop ... until he didnt stop for a few blocks ... we all got so scared we jumped off the moving truck and landed on the road. we all walked home with cuts and bruises and grazes all over us! and i can remember these old people shaking their heads at us ... *pokes tongue out*

anyways after all those events and more my little brother was born only to find out we were moving again this time to Townsville (Interstate) so we lived there ... we went from having 4 seasons to have only one ... it was murder i hated it! i met a really good friend there who i still talk to to this day! we lived at townsville for about 4 years ... um ... i was always getting into mischeif and now ihad a little brother to blame *uh cough* i mean have fun with!

after that we moved to Mackay again basically only one season of weather but a bit better than townsville. I started high school there, didnt like it hated school and didnt really have any close friends at least no one who really helped me to be the best i could be. At that stage of teenagehood where everyones trying to test the boundaries and it was hard to keep a friend ... after about 3 years we moved again down to Brisbane (home now) i suffered a little depression ... alot of things happened inside my family and i got right into suicide .... (wont go into any details) i thought the best way to deal with pain was to hurt myself so well just say i was a cutter for a while ...

I went to a christian school which has based me to be the person i am today ... i met so many amazing people who taught me that i am ok the way i am and that im loved. I got serious about God again and i havnt really looked back since! Hes been an awesome part of my life even when i didnt deserve it he was always there.
Hes my rock when all else falls around me!

2003 i finished school and now im currently working in Childcare and i love it! One of the best things about the job was the faith building it gave me ... i had no idea what i was going to do with my life so i prayed about it and whatever came up i would trust God ... and my next door neighbour told me about it and i applied ... got asked to come in for an interview within a couple of days and within a week i had a job ... HOW AWESOME IS THAT! im now attending a new church that i only started going to about 2 or so months ago its been so great!

and yep i think thats my life story OH WAIT! I GOT MY NOSE PEIRCED A WEEK AND 5 DAYS AGO! WOOHOOOO

and thats Amy!

Your NOSE? Ow.

I had a pretty normal "Early life" - same parents, still married, I did get married too young ;) but wouldn't trade my hubby for anyone.

Re: How did you spend you're Early Life???
okay so i was born in cloncurry (near mt isa in nrth queensland) ... my father is a pilot so we move whenever he is transfered... moved back to brisbane when i was about 2 (where my older sister and younger brother were both born) ... was always a bit of a loner and only ever had one or two friends at a time while i was there but i had my cousins which was cool... when i was nine dad was transfered to perth WA... high school ... loner again, bit of a nerd, but i got through it... i ended up having some major issues with some of my friends who just stopped speaking to me before school even finished and have ended up with some health issues that originated from the depression and stress that came with it... am now almost finished TAFE and am hoping to get a job at the end of the year... oh and i did ninja for about five years during high school and can safely say i will never be going back due to my knee being stuffed... still living at home cause i've never had a job but seriously looking to change that asap... :dead
