Hi!
Awe, I was just stopping by to see if anyone might be out here. I have been trying to figure out patterns, like when people visit here most frequently. But there don't seem to be any. The closest thing to a pattern is the stats that show sightly more visitors on Sunday nights than others.
Well, I hope some night I can collide with you all. I know it would be much fun.
Re: Time
Hi Velma........
This is OT, but I was reading the guest book and someone from Seattle suggested that it would be great if the newspapers in Seattle were aware of the In Apolo's Name project. Do you know if they have any knowledge of the project....and if they don't, how about making them aware of it? The time is running out and the more people who know about it the better. I would think that people in Seattle would especially react to it because of it benefitting their area.....and because as the girl from Seattle said, they all love Apolo there. It's worth a try....
Didn't he look GORGEOUS yesterday on television? I'm still drooling!

Hi Duck, OG, Flash . . .
Flash, yes, he looked beautiful on TV yesterday. I think he should have his own show. He could interview people, ask them smart ass questions. I'd watch! And if he did the show in a short skirt, that would be all the better.
I am workin' on the media thing for the IAN. We were just trying to figure out the best way to go about informing them. Yes, it is like the lotto. You can't win if you don't play. So, we'll jam on it.
Got any other ideas on how we can get people excited about the campaign again?
Hey ApoloFlash, I know your post is to Velma, but I am from the NW area and can help the you out with some of your questions. When Apolo came for the groundbreaking ceremony his appearance was all over the news and mentioned in small columns in several of our local newspapers. However, he has not been home that often, as far as the media knows(i.e. no sightings in our papers, public appearances, etc.). Perhaps he should come for a few book signings and also mention the Ronald McDonald project as well. But I think you have a great idea that if the media were to run a story on how many sites have started "In Apolo's Name Project" that maybe more people will be inclined to participate/donate.
