Head (of a horse)
When I try tocanter archie starts throwing his head about once I start he puts his head down and tries to buck I yank and yank but he won't repond Plz help me

dont yank and yank maybe try new bits and be very gentle he may have a soft soft mouth and ur using a harsh bit soo my suggestion is to get a new bit and dont yank

lol as for the bucking the bit may also annoy him/her or check under ur saddle for a bur or something pointy

other than that my main advice dont yank and ask some1 if u need a new bit

o and check the bit for any rough/pointy edges

Yea, I would try to lighten up on the yank. When a horse is doing that to me, I firm up on the reins just enough to let them know that I'm in charge, but not in a way that it might hurt.

I also try to talk calmly to the horse.

But the bit may be the problem.
