Gorillas help fans see NHL in OKC
GORILLAS FANS GET DEAL TO SEE NHL EXHIBITION GAME IN OK CITY

Amarillo Gorillas hockey fans won’t have far to go to see a National Hockey League pre-season game this year.

The Los Angeles Kings will face the Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday, Oct. 3 at the new Ford Center in Oklahoma City, beginning at 7:35 p.m. This is one of the last exhibition games before the start of the 2002-2003 regular-season schedule.

Fans booking through the Amarillo Gorillas office can save $5 per seat. Ticket prices range from $35 (rink side); $20 (prime upper) and $10 (upper bowl).

The deadline to purchase the tickets is Friday, Sept. 13 and fans must find their own transportation to-and-from the game.

Coyotes managing partner Wayne Gretzky is scheduled to attend this exhibition game. Game organizers Express Sports, who also own the Central Hockey League’s Oklahoma City Blazers, will be holding a special private reception in his honor.

“This is a great opportunity for people to see NHL hockey,” said Gorillas Director of Media Relations Denis J. Puska. “We are hoping that our fans take advantage of this special offer and get involved.”

For more information on the special ticket offer and to book your group, please contact the Amarillo Gorillas office at 806-242-7825.
