Frozen roast in the crockpot
1 3 lb frozen beef roast
1 pkg onion soup mix
1 can cola
pepper to taste

add onions, carrots and potatoes if you want.

Cook on low for 8-10 hours.

I know a lot of people don't recommend putting frozen meat in the crockpot but this one works well and the meat is extremely tender.

Re: Frozen roast in the crockpot
I always cook meat or poultry in a frozen state, whether in a crockpot, sauteeing, grilling, roasting in oven, etc. This method of cooking assures a juicy, never dry end result. I have done this for many, many years.

I'm a new member of this forum and just subscribed
I need help. Please ;)

I need to know if one could use the oven to cook frozen roast, chicken etc. if you didn't have a crock pot.
If so, How long do I cook in the oven and what temperature?

Thank you for your reply.
