French 2 Portfolio 1st Semester 2006
Assignment # 1 –
Write a true lies activity: pick five friends or different members of your family and write one false or one true statement about each of them. Two of your choices should be true and three of them should be false. Below those sentences, make an answer key stating which statements are true and which are false.
Exemple: 1. Mon frère est un cochon.
2. Je chante dans la douche (shower)
Answer Key:
1. C’est faux. Mon frère n’est pas un cochon. Il mange comme un cochon.
2. C’est vrai. Je chante dans la douche parce que c’est
amusant.
Assignment # 2 –
Hieroglyphic Calendar: Choose pictures or symbols that represent different activities and events during the year. On a separate sheet, type the following information:
Outer circle (12-24 sentences)
Months: Explain the images that your chose to draw. Describe the activities, holidays, and type of weather that corresponds to each individual month.
Second Circle (14-21 sentences)
Days of the week: Explain the images that you chose to draw. Describe the activities (sports, hobbies, and pastimes) that you do during the week.
Inner circle (5-7 sentences)
Personal logo: Explain the meaning behind the symbols found in your personal logo.
