First pic post! This is my first attempt at an inked style; it's an attempt at drawing Haruko from Slam Dunk. I'm still not that good at inking, so the lines tend to be wobbly. Anyway...

You are all insane! It's very nice, but she looks mostly painlyful. Perhaps you should try hitting her xard on the xead with a xammer. It would hurt less. |

Re: First pic post! Pretty good... Her eyes are however, lopsided - the right is higher then the left. Also, the eye sizes differ. But it's good, like I said. I've never tried any inking like this myslef (Julian, author of Studio Underground, did a bloody amazing inking of Darth Vader a few years back. It was bloody brilliant).

Re: First pic post! I did the sketch quickly so i could get on with the inking.  I think inking can make a comic look really good, especially inked shading. I'll keep practicing, might use it in the comic when I'm good enough. Did Julian post the Darth Vader up anywhere? |
