I'm done with this forum. What's the point of being on a lonliness forum if it makes you feel more lonely than you were before??? No one responds to the posts, and I feel so much more different and left out than everyone else. I'll just cope with my misery on my own |I . Sad thing is...there are no other forums out there. Hope y'all have good lives.

Re: Finished
Collegekid, don't leave! True, this place is pretty dead which is why I'm visiting it for the first time after posting here. I haven't been here in ages.

But the truth of the matter is you're one of the few who make it undead. However, I totally understand if you don't feel like staying since it makes you more lonely. It's your choice I guess....your feelings should definitely come first.

I agree about the part about not having a loner 'hangout' on the internet. Like this forum, I see loners straggling in small numbers on various far flung websites. I'm sure if we congregated all these people we'd have a sizeable community.

I'm seriously considering to create a community website where loners have a place to call home. Because as it stands, we feel more like loners when we don't even have a website to represent us, which I find very confounding. There are websites for everything in the world, but why none for loners???? Are we really such outacsts that people are scared to identify as a 'loner'?

Anyway, collegekid, I'd like to be your friend and feel sad to see you go. If you're interested in helping start a loner community I'd love for you to be involved. And anyone else for that matter, because it's sure as hell time we had a place of our own.

That's kind of funny... that the lonliness forum would be with lots of members "dead". Are you all "fake", lonly?

How could you be lonly at college though? There has to be someone to talk to... I wish I could go to college I would have a blast.

Re: Finished
I bet college is the most likely place. I am in the same boat. Living on campus is a real drag, very unexpectedly so.

Re: Finished
Where would you rather live? Back with your parents? You have freedom... don't you realise that? You can do what you want around your classes and if it's a drag try to orginize something, take some chances. They say you'll regret not taking chances for the rest of your life... I say if you take chances your life could continue through to a dramatically new and different spot than you would have ever thought to be in. I think if you're not having fun at college or anywere really, it's your fault and you can fix it.

Just my two cents and all that pocket lint, damn I ripped a hole in my pocket.
