Empire Maker
He won't be racing in the Jockey Gold Cup. :( Some injury to his hoof(can't remember what he did, but its to his hoof).

He would've been racing against Mineshaft(one of the top 4 year olds in the country!!!!). So yea...it sucks, but at least I know who to root for because I couldn't decide if I want Empire Maker or Mineshaft to win.

Maybe, if we're lucky, we might see Empire Maker next year. Lol, it's doubtful we'll see EM in the BCC, so maybe Frankel will have Empire Maker for his 4 year season.

AND MAYBE...Empire Maker will be even better!

Lol, very doubtful wishes.

-shrugs- Let them try him on turf. He may do alright. Look at Volponi, he won the 2002 Breeder's Cup Classic, and they tried him on turf.

Volponi had class and anyway Empy is retired :( and anyway his foals will crush every other horse in the world !!
