Dragonball gt should never have happened
It's ok to make fiction based on DBZ unless you set it after GT. The dragonball V story is amazing and brings piccolo inot the story again but I think fiction written should be written after DBZ but before DBGT.
Me and my friend are making a comic about dragonball - its a fan-fiction but the real edge it has is that it scraps DBGT. GT is an insanely bad show, its only 64 episodes long, only a retarded hippo would enjoy watching this badly done sad excuse for dragonball that was only made by bandai to get more moeny out of merchandise.
Ideas within fan-fiction shouldn't include those that were in GT. They should only include ideas made by the creator of DB, Akira Toriyama, the reason GT was so bd was because he didn't make the story -I hope all of you vegetables knew that!!!!

So you hate GT eh? Well, that's your opininon. I know GT isn't the most popular DB series, but that doesn't mean that everyone on the planet should disregard it. One of the things that makes DBV great is that it takes place 2,000 years after DBGT ended. That way, we can start fresh and still have a sense of continuity in each episode. But hey, that's just my two cents. Talk to Awesome, he's the mad genius behind this operation. To be exact, I'm the mad one, he's just the genius. Anyway, good luck with your DB comic and may the Force be with you.

hey my names kyosuke koizumi. i will be i'm a new artist to the dragonball v staff. i'm a manga ka and do other internet anime fan art, i also did the dragon logo for this board. i'm responding to your anti dragon ball gt post. i love dragonball gt ithink its great. i wonder if you have seen dragonball gt? i've seen it and really love it. the begining portion is different from the super fighting style of dragonball z but its still great! the light hearted comedy, adventure that makes up the first 15 some episodes is nothing new to dragonball. do not forget about the search for nameks dragon balls, or the dragonball quests in the first series. dragonball gt's early portion is great but once the bebi saga begins it gets really incredible moving back to the original cast of characters in new senerios and the fighting is great! not to mention the aligorical j'pop love songs that about dragonball fans and dragonball gt. in response to your comments about toriyamas absence from the series, akira toriyama worked as a consultant for the early portion of the series. he did not want to continue the dragonball manga any more so i assume this less direct aproach to the series was somthing he did not hate. bird studio did the art for the early portion of gt as well. dragonball gt was made because everyone loved dragonball so much after z went off the air it would have been foolish not to continue the series. it was only 64 episodes because less devoted fans did not adjust well to the series at first but once the super fighting style came to the newseries ratings went up. however ironicly the show was cancelled as ratings were going up, and many hail the final episode of gt as the greatest in dragonball. so please keep an open mind about gt. 64 episodes is still alot, and it is very well done. hope i could shed some insight on gt for you.

Dragonball gt was really bad because it was mad short. It was also bad because Gokou and Vegeta are the only good guys that are really strong and the only ones dat turned Ssj4. Gt sucked.
dragonball gt response
i like dragonball gt, it was short compaired to the 200 some episodes of z but 64 is still more than the average tv anime many are only 26. i would have liked to have seen more though but ratings were low to start with but the popularty of the show rose steadily but then it was cancelled. i dont understand this decission but i guess they figured they got a video game out of the show and the story had reached a climax. but dragonball gt is a quality anime the music story and art are all execellent. its a great addition to the series.
SSJ 4 is only atainable for 100% sayajins. so only gokuo and vegeta could reach this level. i personaly would have liked to see gohan maintain his mystic level but hes nearly vegetas equal as a SSJ 2 until later bulma makes a machine to turn vegeta to a SSJ 4 to help Gokuo win his final battles. aproach gt with an open mind, watch the whole 64 episodes not the choped up FUNI dub and i think you'll like it.

nah i know gt wasnt dat bad but it juss makes me mad that only vegeta and gokou are really strong and everybody else is weak. i wish gohan still trained and atleast reached ssj3. i also wanted atlest for trunks and goten to turn ssj2.

yeah i would have like to see them be stronger to but it is expliained that in the 15 yrs of peace they persued other avenues besides fighting. but they still are really really tough. there is a picture of SSJ4 gohan floating around the internet. it looks authentic, it was most likley concept art that was never persued. if you look at dragonball af sites you should find it.
my favorite character
thats a good question, i supose my favorite character is Son Gokuo, but i like Son Gohan, Vegeta, Miran Trunks, Piccolo, Son Goten nearly as much as Gokou and I'm very enthusiastic about the other characters as well, like Trunks, Kurrin, Bulma, Yamacha, Tenshinhan, Pan, Launch, Gotenks... there isnt a good guy I dont really like. there are some bad guys that like to hate like freeza the evil androids, cell, true boo ect....

yes i did get the email, but i tried to send replies but i kept getting returned emails saying it your box was full. i saw your new forums they look cool. i havent posted on them yet because i already had conversations here. i'm almost done with my manga. i've got a page and a half to put the finishing touches on. then i just need to put in the word bubbles and i'm done. then i can get to more art for the dragon ball v site.
