Donations for players wife
For those wishing to donate to the Angela Tseplis Medical Fund there will be a collection jar at the program booth.
Quote: Angela, wife of NMx Scorpion Gatis Tseplis, is in need of your prayers. She has a very rare form of cancer. This will require her to have a major surgery in which she will lose alot of organs (uterus, ovaries, stomach lining, part of large intestine and more). This can only be done at a hospital in Washington DC. She will have to fly from Albuquerque to DC often for
treatment. The Scorps are doing some fund raisers for her to help offset some of the costs. (remember Gatis is a minor league player not NHL and these trips will be expensive) Please remember her in your prayers.

I have completed 2 major surgeries in Washington DC and it has been confirmed that I am now cancer free. I, of course, have to follow up with monthly blood tests and CT Scans every 6 months but the hard part has passed. I am now on the road to recovery and it has made it all that much easier with all the thoughts and prayers that so many of you have given.
I am still receiving letters and e-mails from so many people from all over and I want to apologize for not getting back as soon as I would have like to. Things aren't back to normal yet but it gets closer each day. I was so sad to leave such a wonderful hockey family and will have a special place in my heart for all of you always. The support that Gatis and I received was absolutely the most heart-warming experience and to this day is still leaves me speechless.
Again, thank you all for everything that has been done and I send my heart and apprecitation to you all.
