It would appear that the resist buffs all cap at +25% now at Grandmaster, if it's even possible to train them that high. I have 2 trains in Beorc Rune and it gives me +6% Fire/Cold resist. Next train (3) it's still +6% Fire/Cold resist. The durations increase as you rank them however, and the mana cost ranks up quite efficiently.(Beloved_Sairi)

The Traveller Rune sounds like the first one I would like to get. It fits in line with my character plans of being completely a support character ie Priest.
Looking forward to helping everyone obtain these...
Re: Question ..
I might be mistaken as I haven't actually tried to get a rune yet but I heard that the monsters that drop them are rank 3 or 4 so they could be tough to get.
And here's a map of the game world to help you figure out where the spawns are.
disciplines
I have quite a bit of experience hunting down Discipline mobs as I've spent several hours doing it solo. The Bog of the black drake is on the main center island. I've been there several times looking for it but unfortunately HoS has a stranglehold on that area and each time I was there the spawn point was camped by a group.
HoS has no problems killing a lone passing scout either I might add. Even if to kill that scout they have to chase for a VERY long distance. I know.
All Disc mobs I've seen have all been R3, 35 and up. You can solo them if you are patient and do hit and run tactics. Since mobs don't sit down to heal you can afford to run away, heal, and then go back and finish the job.
Not all of these coordinates should be taken as fact however. I have never visited the Archer spawn point listed so I don't know if it is accurate, but I know that there is a Mob at the exact same place as the Blademaster Mob that drops the Archer's rune as well. Lord "something" the Deathless I believe it is called.

376,298 - Gladiator trainer, Stockyard (zone), Haroun Wildlands Island, Surounded by a bunch of Bison, they are very aggro, they are grey to level 19. But you will have to take down a few just to get to him.
396,283 - Enchantress, Harourn Wildlands, Surounded by a bunch of R2 spiders but they are non-aggro
383,280 - Traveller and Enchantress, Inn on the side of the road, Haroun Wildlands.
404,306 - Archer, Surrounded by a few R2 Worgs, and R1 Werewolves, Haroun Wildlands.
I'd camped this twice, over a 10 hour span. It would likely have been only the 3-4 but we'd had a wipe on the 1st group and was rather hard to get a 2nd going of the people who could make the swim over (needed a summoner who could get to Vollingard - rare, who would swim as far east to the large island and then summon a con heavy and buff'd summoner there who then swam rest of the way. Risky). This is FAR easier with a Traveler-equiped pc activating the gate and helping you get to the isle from the start.
Well we camped where we saw the guy the 1st time. We did kill him, though no disc. Seems there is a practice by rogues to steal it from the mobs who drop em, leaving people like us to kill them, and then have to camp the site for 3-4 hours. Cute move.
I think the duration of the event was due to the mobs also wandering. I found the Forge guy walking TO our spot from within a forest line, which I am guessing is where he sits a while and walks back.
The location in the area of 111x54 or 55 An npc town is clearly seen from this point, and I camped solo a while (then with Synthardis) by the trees watching for the spawn.
Don't get too caught up pulling that r3 ghost mob across the road. He is far tougher than you may realize, dishing good damage.
Wander about a bit, leaving one person to keep an eye on the spawn spot too, and watch for pkers and others who want the drop as well. Some r5's patrolled by, one at a time, and I had to negotiate not getting killed, heh.
The forgemaster drop is almost due south of the runegate. It is not a far run. I am traveller equiped, and have ben hunting some of the r3's and r4's in that area.
Re: disciplines
Romilly's character requires a huntsman (her book based character had animal telepathy)... Anyone want to help me go on a quest - She has no stamina, but she can summon. How much stamina is required? If I get my con buff up to near max I could maybe do it I guess. How much time do you have to spend waiting?
Re: disciplines
Don't know about the Huntsman rune, but Nayru and I camped for Galdiator runes. We waited over two hours for the named mob to repop after our first kill and never saw him again, actually had to relog and went back to the spot several hours later. I also camped for an Archery rune, spent two days camped on the spawn site for over two hours each time and never saw him.
The moral of this tail, be prepared to wait.

Wearbear Trainer?
The details on Tzung suggest Volgarth, but on our listings it say its in the same Zone as the Drop - highly unusual, no? 10.8 x 67.1 Thats real close to the current Longshaks loc.
Interestingly I noticed R30s have a monopoly on 4 disciplines on their island - has anyone ever managed to get a BlackMask for their scout?
