The sun had slowly succumbed to the power of the moon, turning the sky a kaleidoscope of pink, purple and blue. Bella was dressed for the hunt, which meant her black snakeskin micromini, hot pink stilettos, a black halter, and a dark grey blazer. The air was heavy; it was a cold humid night. She stuffed her hands into her blazer pocket and pulled out a lighter and lit a black clove cigarette, she took a deep drag and exhaled a thick cloud of smoke.
Walking along the drab streets of Nureese her emerald green eyes searched for her dinner, for now all she sees is rats and stray cats. Peering down a dark alleyway she can see and smell a drunken homeless man, “I’ll pass.” She sneers as she darts past him, she’s had it with smelly drunks and unattractive boy toys, she wanted passion, she wanted tall dark and handsome, someone with cultured blood. Bella would not settle for less anymore.
Fog wrapped around her as the sounds of her stilettos echoed in the strange silence of the city. The sound of a man talking on a cell phone filled her ears. The voice was strong, with a hint of despair. Bella followed the voice to the back of a dark alleyway, he was exquisite. The man had long dark hair; his eyes were a blue that shone like the shores of her childhood. Bella was taken aback by his strong chin and voluptuous lips, he saw her and his eyes burned into her undead soul. He quickly hung up the phone, Bella walked up to him, her green eyes sending him into a passion filled hypnosis, and he was putty in her hands.
His hands grabbed her hips and pulled her against his tight muscular body; he swept his hands through her long hair and kissed her deeply, his lips seizing hers in what seemed like hours of passion. Bella’s thigh hiked high on his hip, his hands cupping her breasts fire seemed to run through her veins, she pulled open the collar of his shirt, popping the buttons off and kissed the flesh of his warm neck, feeling his blood pulse through the sensitive skin oh her lips. Her fangs lengthened and she drug her fingernails into his chest, she sunk her fangs deep into his neck; puncturing his vein and releasing the life nectar that gave her such pleasure. She took of his blood while the man moaned with ecstasy. Bella looked up from her meal, his eyes looked far away, she took one last sip and he crumpled to the ground as a deep sleep took him.
Bella wiped a drop of blood from the corner of her mouth with her finger and licked it off as she leaned down licked the puncture marks in his neck and kissed him on the cheek, leaving a subtle pink lipstick mark. Bella ran a hand through her hair and pulled her skirt down as she strolled out of the alley into the main road.
"Will you still hold me when you see what I have done?
Will you still kiss me the same,
When you taste my victim’s blood?"
"Well, hello again." A voice sounded very nearby the woman she followed. Beladona liked to make people jump. She followed Bella down the street, waiting for her to reply or turn; simply waiting for her to do something. "You certainly have your own taste." Beladona was trying to make this girl react. So she waited, staying well out of this other one's sight, but using her powers to mess with this girl. It always amused her to mess with people's minds, no matter what race.

Bella walked slowly, her heels keeping a steady rhythm. The dim lights casting eerie shadows across the streets, the toxic sludge glowing an odd shade of green. "Ugh, this place is a real mess, someone should clean that." Bella complained as she tip toed through the scum.
"Well, hello again."
Bella continued to walk, she recognized the voice, it was of a young vampire who she shared a name with.
"First the crypt, now here, are you following me? You should be off eating rats or sheep or something. Not here, bothering me."
She sounded slightly irritated, Bella was one who valued her privacy and it she didn't know how long this other vampire had been following her, or what she had seen. The thought of someone seeing what she had just done made her cold cheeks warm just a bit. How naughty that felt. She laughed a bit at the thought and kept walking down the street, sure that the voice would follow.
"You certainly have your own taste."
And follow it did.
"Yes, I always have been fond of nice refined things."
She explained, sounding slightly condescending. That's the way she liked it, it kept her seemingly unapproachable.

Beladona projected her loud hearty laugh first infront of the woman, then behind her...toying was always fun. It was always fun to follow people, listening to their thoughts on everyday life. And so it seemed this vampire thought Beladona was young, oh how wrong she was.
"Besides, Why would I follow you? Is there something you're hiding?" She projected her voice to right behind the woman's ear, speaking in just a whisper barely loud enough to stir enough air for a butterfly's wings.
"I wouldn't call that nice and refined..." she said in reply to something the woman said. "And just so you know, this doesn't make you sound unapproachable, it's just annoying." She said, listening to the woman's thoughts with distinct interest. This woman was turning out to be far more interesting than Beladona had originaly thought.

The other vampires voice surrounded Bella, like a gnat or mosquito buzzing around her head. If only she could swat away noises like she could a bug.
"Whether I'm hiding something or not is none of your business.. But for your sake it'd be better if I weren't." Bella hissed.
"And just so you know, this doesn't make you sound unapproachable, it's just annoying."
Bella felt her mind being probed, Belladonna was listening to her thoughts. She would not allow this, Bella closed off her mind to any further breech of privacy.
"Is there some reason you're following me?"
"Will you still hold me when you see what I have done?
Will you still kiss me the same,
When you taste my victim’s blood?"

"Perhaps, but if so, why would I tell you?" She asked. 'It was always so fun to screw with people, especially if they didn't like it', she thought to herself.
Beladona giggled to herself at the woman's annoyance. So the woman compared her to a bug...oh, well. Perhaps we could have some more fun with her anyway.
Beladona followed the woman down another dark alley. 'where is this woman going' she thought to herself. Beladona closed her eyes and concentrated, fighting past the other one's deffenses to see the path ahead.
In an alcove ahead of the woman, Beladona appeared. Stepping out into the light, she blocked the woman's path, her hand's behind her on the hilts of her daggers. A devil's grin stretched across her face, she looked at the woman before her through her eyebrows, as she tipped her head down to protect her throat. She grounded herself, feet planted, one slightly to the side and behind the other. She prepared herself for any fight this woman would give, besides it had been a while since her last good fight. She hoped this one would be a bit of a challenge.

Bella laughed heartily at the aggressive actions taken by the opposing vampire. The alleyway she had just turned on just so happened to be right behind the Red Lotus, an alleyway she knew quite well.
Beladonna's hands were behind her back, probably holding a weapon. Beladonna thought she could take her, but Bella had just fed, so her life force was at a peak. Power surged through her veins and she jumped flat footed onto a fire escape on the back of the Red Lotus, right outside her home. Bella jumped with acrobatic skill onto the next escape to the side and climbed on top of the roof.
She walked the edge of the roof, peering down at the vampires entering the bar, she could see Zen tossing a rowdy patron out into the street. Oh, this was her battle ground, and should the need be she could have atleast a dozen others to help her.
But Bella was confident that she would not need any. She had only killed other vampires when in dire need, she did not go picking fights with others and only killed when the evil in her soul took over her body, but that didn't happen very often; and she didn't think it would happen now, the threat was too small.
"Will you still hold me when you see what I have done?

Beladona laughed to herself at the woman as she jumped away. So she thought she wasn't worth the effort, oh well, at least she didn't have to kill the poor girl. She smiled to herself and watched the woman's silhouette above her, then quietly walked away, leaving the woman gazing down at the spot where she had been standing...
