Amy's heart has been heavy ever since she gave Storm away. But she knows that Storm is a good home now. Plus, she has all the other horses. Including her vry own large pony, Sundance. Sundance is just coming off his sprained tendon, but then he gets a life-threating colic. While Amy nurses him through that, Jess - the woman that bought Melody and little Daybreak - wants to give the horses back. Amy is all over the idea. But, is she willing to give up another horse that she loves terribly?

"Amy?" came the voice.
"Yes?" Amy asked, vaguely recgonizing the voice.
"Hello, Amy, it's Jess." Amy heard the smile in the woman's voice. "I bought Melody and Daybreak from you."
Amy grinned and practically jumped a foot. "Hi!" she said happily. "How are the horses doing?"
Jess gave a little laugh. "Great, great," she replied. "But I wanted to ask you something."
Amy frowned and sat down on a chair in the house. "Yes?"
Amy heard the sigh come from Jess's mouth. "Well, I really do love having Melody and Daybreak at my house," she said.
"But?" Amy asked, hearing the uncertaincy in Jess's voice.
Jess gave a long sigh. "I really don't have time for them anymore," she admitted. "I mean, Daybreak should be weaned, but she's not...and I feel terrible. Well, Amy, what I'm really wondering is if you would take them back?"
