This year, Pony Express has made it easy for people who do not ride motorcycles to take part in the excitement by signing on as "phantom" riders on-line. Celebrity honorary riders for the 2003 Pony Express Relay include actors Rob Lowe and David Arquette, NBC morning show personality Ann Curry, and former Texas governor Ann Richards.
Yea... go davey ride that pony!.... dude there are two of those faces

DMX Film Gets Picked Up By Fox Searchlight

Fox Searchlight Pictures has picked up the rights to the new DMX-produced urban thriller titled Never Die Alone. The film, which is currently in post-production, is based on a 1974 book of the same name. DMX plays a gangster whose murder is witnessed by a journalist played by David Arquette. The story of the gangster's life is relayed via flashbacks through a journal he kept when he was alive.
The movie is being directed by the Ernest Dickerson who has worked on Do The Right Thing, Mo' Better Blues, Jungle Fever, Malcolm X and Juice.
DMX is no stranger to films. He starred with Jet Li in Cradle 2 The Grave and appeared in Belly, Romeo Must Die and Exit Wounds, for which he scored a Blockbuster Breakthrough Actor nomination.
His first four albums debuted at Number One and sold more than 22 million copies in four years.

Earlier this week it was announced that Vince McMahon would be making a Ready to Rumble Two. The first Edition of Ready to Rumble was based around a fictional wrestler named Jimmy the King being kicked of WCW. Jimmys two biggest fans try to return Jimmy to the WCW and win back his belt. This film will go along the same lines. Accept Jimmy will be kicked of SmackDown. Rumours say that David Arquette will be returning for the film.

The quick-thinking Scream star scooped the injured rodent into a small box and headed for the nearby Veterinary Centers of America West L.A. headquarters. "He walked in and was like, 'Is there a veterinarian here?' " recalls Adiola McCalmon, a temporary worker, who informed the star that he was in the corporate office and gave him directions to the actual hospital blocks away. "He had this sad look on his face. But he was tan and really gorgeous. He was a looker, and that is what surprised me."

LEWISTON (AP) -- Filmmakers in British Columbia will try to re-create what Lewiston looked like 35 years ago when they begin shooting a movie next week based on Stephen King's "Riding the Bullet."
The story, which King published as an Internet e-book in 1999, includes scenes of Lewiston, particularly at Central Maine Medical Center.
Director Mick Garris, who collaborated with King on the screenplay, said they decided to move the story back in time to 1969. Garris said he would have loved to have shot the film in Lewiston, but money goes 25 percent further in Canada.
The film, starring Erika Christensen, Jonathan Jackson and David Arquette, is scheduled to be released next October.
Pierce Brosnan, Wyclef Jean, Jane Seymour, Courteney Cox and David Arquette are among a host of celebrities who have agreed to serve as mentors for children in foster care this year.
As a part of their duties, the stars are expected to attend Sunday's The Day of the Child carnival at Los Angeles' Pierce College.
The organization's 5,000 participants have agreed to mentor some 5,000 children by spending two days a month with them.
Organizer Daphna Ziman says, "Steven Dorff is involved, Bruce Davison has been mentoring now for two years, JC Chasez is involved.
"Catherine Dent, who is bringing the whole cast of The Shield, just completed an entire year with her child Tiffany. When she started, Tiffany wasn't reading, but now she is, and they've even been writing a journal together."
Friends star Courteney Cox was left speechless when husband David Arquette showed off his new tattoo - a skyline map of Los Angeles.

Her pal says, "She thinks it's a bit ridiculous. She told him it will look silly when he's old and wrinkly."

Un-Friendly Security: Though you'd be hard-pressed to tell otherwise, it isn't all one big post-Golden Globes fashion orgy this week in the tabs. According to the Star, things got ugly over on the Friends set, and it had nothing to do with backstage backstabbing. We're talking about David Arquette's latest ensemble, a "gangsta rapper" number that the Star reports got him turned away from the show's set by security when he tried to visit wife Courteney Cox. But if we know David, his getup was likely tarnishing the tasteful reputations of gangsta rappers everywhere. "I couldn't even get on the lot!" says the always genial fashion victim. "I had to call and have Matthew [Perry] come and get me." See, it's good to have Friends. Or should we say Homies?

We wonder if Miss Cleo knew actress Patricia Arquette would soon star in a series about a suburban psychic?
The actress, sister of Rosanna and David Arquette, is in negotiations to star in the NBC drama pilot "Medium," Reuters News Agency reports. She would play a suburban mom who uses her psychic powers to solve crimes.
