Corruption or Vengeance?
Right now TOSH is in a state of limbo.

We need to get our roots planted, somewhere, as soon as possible.

When you think about it, we really have only two choices. Corruption or Vengeance.

Both servers have pluses and minuses. The biggest minus on Corruption is the exp penalty, and lack of gold. The biggest minus on Vengeance is ??? When I think of it, what reason do we have not to go to Vengeance? Better exp, not so overcrowded, still a LOT of open areas to plant a ToL, better gold drops.

Sure Corroption has the essence of a complety new server, it has that new car smell, but I feel it will be beyond frustrating trying to get from 20-35 without being constantly PK'ed.

Think about what will happen when Corruption is mature? There will be so many cities and so many people competing for the same mobs and camps. Right now Corruption is averaging 1800+, that is about 6X Scorns population. Scorn was semi crowded with other guilds sometimes camping the IK spawn. Can you imagine what 6X the population will be like?

I know people will eventually leave Corruption to go back to thier existing characters or move to Vengeance or quit altogether. I still see Corruption being a 1200+ server every night for quite a while.

I will stop rambling now, but I keep asking myself:

Why NOT move to Vengeance?

I can't come up with a good reason .....

I personally have only played for a short time on Corruption but got bored because of the slow XP. Carnage is now dead and I still havent migrated my old characters yet. So I'm all for going to Vengeance. Sorry but I just dont have time to get to R6 all over again especially since it's a lot harder to do now on Corruption. See you guys around

Actually Rom, Vengeance is getting around 800 peeps a night, which is far from dead. I think a lot of people will move to Vengeance for a few reasons. Mostly that the exp on Corruption sucks! Also the amount of n00b ganking out of the safeholds will be "fever pitch" for around a month or so.
