Okay, I appear to have made it in. I remember now why I had so many problems the first time. It's that global/local registration @#%$. I had joined another ezboard a while back, long forgotten, and that earlier registration was interfering with this one.
That's why the username is different this time. But I'm still the same rabid anti-jeebus @#%$ as before.
