Carburation
What are the benefits, if any, of using the available adapter and installing a 30 PICT carburetor in place of a 34 PICT3 on 1971 and later dual port engines?

I am having trouble in getting my Bug to idle with my current 34 carb. I have checked and double checked ignition and timing and have a fairly new fuel pump and filter. I am not a fan of this air bypass screw adjustment.

By the way, I see that an electric pump with fuel pressure regulator is available. Any opinion on that set up?

Thanks for your help.
