CHL Booster Clubs Guideline - Sect 35
Folks,
I just received today from Leon Friedrich - Manager of Hockey Operations, via fax, the official CHL Booster Club Guidelines.
I know there was a lot of discussion at the BC convention, and he did clarify that a welcome food basket at the start of the season was not the same as "groceries" - where a BC might provide groceries to subsidize a player's income. Same goes with the understanding that food for the bus trips was not forbidden, nor the post game meal for other teams.
Mysti from the Cottonkings should be sending this information to all the Booster Clubs shortly. It was brought up at the BC convention this summer.....

If in the case of any uncertainty, the League Office needs to be contacted for clarification.
