Brahmas are 2-0!
Friday night in Wichita Kyle Reeves scores 2 goals and Matt Mullin makes 35 saves in a 4-2 win. Mullin gets injured with 5 minutes left when Wichita takes a run at him. Darren Curry(D) gets his first pro goal and Mike Tilson also gets 1 for FW.
FW headed to Shreveport the next night.
Fort Worth wins 6-5 in Shreveport with their 2nd and 3rd goalies. Starter Matt Mullin was injured late in Friday nights win in Wichita so rookie Cory Batten got the start.
After giving up 4 goals in the 1st period, he was
pulled at the 17:09 mark and replaced by last year's backup, Cameron MacDonald who was signed to a 5 game tryout on Saturday. Cam only gave up 1 goal the rest of the way on 25 Bugs' shots.
6 different Brahmas scored: Kyle Reeves(3rd of the year), Justin Wiliams(first as a pro), Cody Leibel, Chad Woollard(also had 3 assists), Joe Van Volsen and Jim Midgley(first pro goal and game winner!).
Craig Johnson of FW was a team high +3. Fort Worth penalty kill is now 14 for 14 after 2 games.
Brahmas were outshot 41-28 but Jonathan Forest definitely had an off night. Scoerers for the Bugs were Dru Burgess, Luc Theoret, Jason Campbell, Trevor Buchanan and Dan Wildfong.
FW leading their division at 2-0! It's early but what the hell.

Thanks....they was at 2-3 when I posted that. Hope to see them turn it around. Maybe you will get some healthy goalies soon. Look forward to your updates!
