Blending of Employees
We're now in our forth week with the two plants mixed together into one at Oly. And so far all seems to be going well for all concerned.
Has anyone thought of having a one year get together next year to mark the closing of the Chatsworth Facility?
We'll have to get together sometime when were not working and throw back a few cold ones at Venice Beach.
It's been almost two months since the transition, and were all working as a team at Oly. The new employees now understand what we are faced with at Oly, the lack of regular maintanance of the machinery. And it shows with all the calls to the service shops, but we are saving a bundle by not keeping the presses in running order.
I have taken one young operator under my wing, I would like to see him succeed at Oly, and he's a nice fellow as well.
It was sad to hear that Matt has resigned, but I'm happy for him at the same time, and wish I were in his shoes at times.
