Thanks GotClay? Good to see you made it over here. I think we could liven it up with some of the who?won users over here. Wait till hockey season starts and these other forums will really pick up.

Hope to see you back soon.

What Forum do you guys and gals use to talk about the NHL? I follow Hockey constantly but I notice you focus a lot on the Minor Leagues! If Phoenix still had a minor League team I would be all over it but we seem to lose all our Teams do to poor owners and lack of State support!

Re: Bill Elliot Wins the Brickyard 400..
We usually talk of NHL in the CHL forum. We did at one time have an NHL forum but just combined it into the other. Funny thing you bring that up. The CHL league offices are in Phoenix so you would think that they would look at it as a possible expansion. Even when they were the WPHL and had teams in only Texas and Louisiana their offices were in Phoenix which never made any sense.

BTW....is the benchracing forum going to a pay deal like mentioned on there? I read alot of the people would not come if they had to pay. Possibly we could bring them here is they want. Our users here have the option to contribute to the community chest which keeps the pop-ups off. We have very good support with the hockey users on this board. Let me know what you think GC?

Who?Won will not go the Membership route! Who?Won is owned by Racefan.com now and Jeff only runs Who?Won and takes care of everything, he had no idea that racefan13(owner of Racefan.com) was going to post! He is very unhappy that Racefan13 did post that because as you have noticed, some users arent to happy with the idea, eventhough it would eliminate a lot of problems there even if it requires paying a fee! I dont know if I would stay a member if it went to a membership, I may have a free pass seeing a work for Racefan.com now and moderate the forums! So basically I dont see the Membership thing happening but I wouldnt put it past Racefan.com!

I think gradually we could possibly generate some traffic your way, I think it all depends on who likes to visit multiple boards and maybe if some of the Who?Won members are hockey fans themselves!

I sent you a PM just a little bit ago and when Hockey Season starts back up I may have a plan to draw some members this way!

That is kind of odd that Phoenix hosts the main offices for the Leagues but it doesnt have a team within the League but maybe its because the Coyotes are getting all the attention right now! They are getting a brand new Arena built due to the fact that America West Arena was built for Basketball and not Hockey so there are a lot of obstructed view seats! We had the Phoenix Roadrunners of the IHL for years and I followed them very closely and got to know a couple of the players on the personal side but they went broke and then we got the Phoenix Mustangs of the AHL(I believe) and the owner decided to move the team elsewhere! So for us to get another minor League team I think would take an act of God!
