Barnes cannot do it all
I tried to listen to the game online but got the Express instead, so I cannot say for sure......but.......seems to me that Matt cannot be expected to stop 30 to 40 shots every game. As good as he is, and he is darn good, he will need some help......am I wrong?????

Things will change in the upcoming games starting with Sunday!
But yes Z you are right Barnes needs help! We just signed a kid named Brent Hughes, this kid has good some fast hands and can skate! Look for him too shine Sunday!

Not everyone is giving up, BB. Like I posted on the Underground -- take some more shots on goal, play a little better D and help out Barnes on Sunday night, and the Bats are right back in this thing. It is FAR from over, this was only game 1.

wow!! can't believe you people!! Barnes will be fine. 30-40 shots on goal?? That ain't CRAP!! You should have suffered through the season we just had in San Angelo............Our netminders saw 30-40 shots on net by the end of the 2nd period!! Hughes will get stuff squared away....and as always - it ain't over 'til it's over.

Well of course BARNES will be fine!! It's the defense we are questioning! They just need to kick it up a notch and we can do it for sure, they have that power! But Laredo has a lotta power too, hopefully Schnieder stays OFF his game through this one!
