Autostick questions
Hello,

I bought a 1969 Ghia in the fall and I finally got an engine into it. The engine is running fine but the transmission seems to be off a bit. Going into reverse is fine, but when I switch from reverse to neutral it seems a bit clunkey. Also, in first the engine doesnt seem to tranfer power well untill the car is up to 30MPH or so. I have't played around with it too much, but I thought someone might have a suggestion or two.

Best regards,

Jason in toronto.

hard shiting in autostick ghia
Hi,
Just joined up with this forum... message board
How did You go with Your auto stick?
I am restoring a 1968 Auto stick Beetle.
I have bought 9 different Workshop manuals so I have most of the answers to adjusting and using an autostick.
You Must have at least one good workshop manual with all the details of the auto stick adjustments.
You just cannot drive them without knowing how to adjust everything.
