I'm a mom to 2 special children. My 8 year old's dx is asperger's syndrome, sensory integration disorder, along with various factors such as institutionalization (Romanian orphanage) until age 3-1/2, speech and sight issues. My 6 year old's dx is sensory integration disorder, receives OT and Speech therapies and I see strong tendencies towards Central Auditory Processing Disorder (also institutionalized until age 17 months, Romania.)
I'm a SAHM, (but looking for work at home situation); military wife; dog lover (foster mom for rescue organization); gardener; reader; traveler (BC - Before Children); always-running-late-hoping-for-a-happy-ending-praying-a-lot type of person.

I also work from home, if you would like some info you can e-mail me off the board. I have 1 son age 5 with PDD-NOS, sensory integration disfunction, growth hormone deficiency, ADHD,and nocturnal seizures. It will be nice to talk with some one in the same boat i am.
