*jealous*

I know I dreamed you a sin and a lie
I have my freedom but I don’t have much time
Faith has been broken, tears must be cried
Let’s do some living after we die
Wild horses couldn’t drag me away
Wild, wild horses, we’ll ride them some day
...

Just thought that I would say that I LOVE the book. I am only about 15 percent of the way through, and wish that I had more time to read. My boyfriend has finished it already and is rereading it. Would love to discuss if anyone is interested. :)

I'm more than half way through book 5 of Harry Potter. I am so picking this up once I finish book 6.

Good to see a thumbs up! :cheer

I am about half way through it. Enjoying it thoroughly so far. I should have reread book 3 more recently though... have to stop and think, ok, now who is this? I didn't check his website. I am assuming that he did in fact split this into two books essentially as I am half way through and no Daenerys thus far. The book is still great, that just disappoints me as she is one of my favorite characters and I am so interested in her story. I hope the next book isn't too far away...

Yes, it was split into two. Thus the lack of Danearys and John. Who I theorize to be related as John is not really Ned Starks bastard. He will be the king of the realm with Dany. Cersi will get hers and be destroyed by the others. Actually, I just want to punch her in the face. ;) I also think that Jaime and Brienne will get together. Any other thoughts?

Re: A Feast For Crows
Yeah, after I posted I checked out his website. No word on when the next book will actually be released though...

I have wondered about Jaime and Brienne, but am not sure. I too think that Jon is not Ned Stark's son. My thoughts are that he is Ned's sister's, a product of the supposed rape, I think it was, by one of the old dragon kings kin (can't remember the name nor dare try to spell it). I also thought that he may actually be Robert's, although I am not sure why Ned would keep that secret from Robert at the time. Not to drop any spoilers as I think I am further along in the book than you, but right now I am a little afraid for Jon...

If Cersei doesn't get hers, I will be highly pissed. I love these books but damn, all the good guys keep dying! (no spoiler, I was referring to the earlier books) Well, Tywin Lannister did get his just rewards I suppose. I am getting close to the part where Lady Stark is going to show up I think, newly renamed. Can't wait to see what her story is now!

Re: A Feast For Crows
I know more than I should about what happens, but Steve can't seem to keep his mouth shut! That is okay, it prepares me a little so, I am not quite so shocked and upset when things happen. I was glad that Tywin got his in the "end". I believe that Lyanna and Rhaeger ran away together and that John is his son. I think that would make Dany his cousin. Still trying to figure out who the third head of the dragon is though. From what I understand Cersei is going insane. One thing is certain she sucks at being a mother and makes an even worse Queen. One of my personal favotites is Arya and I am missing Bran and the frog kids in this book. I am hoping that cold hands is really Brandon Stark. I think I could go on forever talking about these books.

Ahh, hadn't thought about Brandon. That would make sense. I'm with you. I love this series and look forward to my evening reads. Mr. Martin just needs to write a little faster for the next one.

Almost half way through. I am a little disappointed though. I think there is a lot of stuff that he could have left out. Maybe then he wouldn't have had to split the book. He is also over obsessed with breasts in this book. I like the idea of Jaime and Brienne together, but I think that the way he is writing it is a little cheesy. Oh, well, I still have a hard time putting it down.

I agree there was alot of extraneous stuff. I finished the book over the weekend. I liked it in regards to I enjoy the characters and seeing how they develop, plot etc. But the book did leave me somewhat unsatisfied. Particularly when you realize that the next book due out next year or even 2007 is the other half of this book... meaning that none of these cliff hangers will be resolved for a long, long time! (unless Mr. Martin kicks up his writing speed a great deal)

Re: A Feast For Crows
I am now finished and a bit disappointed. At least it sounds like he has most of the next one finished if it is to be out next year. With the editing process and printing so, here is hoping that we don't have to wait four more years to piece it all together. I did like that book, but I was hoping for so much more.
