18 tubes of toothpaste
I read about someone that bought 18 tubes of toothpaste because she had coupons and they were on sale. She paid .23 a tube. What kind of items have you bought like this in 'bulk' (for lack of a better word)?

Re: 18 tubes of toothpaste
I read that woman's post, too, about 18 tubes of toothpaste. I'm sure she re-submitted info saying that she wasn't going to use them all for herself. The benefit of getting so many so cheaply was that she planned on donating them to a charity/homeless shelter or something.

I've acquired only as many as, say, 6 antiperspirants and 6 body washes. One caution, however, since I stopped using the body washes with the puffs in the shower for some time (maybe 3 years) the oil in the body wash turned to a rancid smell. So much for the perfumey aspect of them! They still clean me as well (I'm back using them) - but I have to put more body lotion on after my shower, just in case the rancid smell remains. Anything with oil, like, of course, cooking oil or even hand lotion can go bad and smell rancid.

it's good to know
it is good to know that body wash can go rancid. I usually only stock up on paper products like toilet paper and paper towels. I donate all the excess bath products because with just two of us at home, they don't get used. I cleaned out too many trial sized tooth pastes and shampoo and donated those...I don't know what I was keeping them for:\
